Now The Solid Waste Receiving and Treatment Plant – Kien Giang is located at 1/74 My Hung Hamlet, Vinh Thong Ward, An Giang Province. It is a key municipal solid waste treatment facility serving the region.

With a total area of 25 hectares and a treatment capacity of approximately 200 tons of waste per day, the plant has officially been in operation since 2012. To date, it is responsible for receiving and treating all municipal solid waste generated within An Giang Province, as well as waste from several neighboring districts. The project plays an important role in maintaining environmental hygiene, reducing pollution, and promoting sustainable development in the region.

Periodic quarterly analysis results of exhaust gas and wastewater are conducted to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
